Our preschoolers’ room aims to increase your child’s independence through self-directed, play-based learning.

Each day, educators facilitate learning meetings with your child, to discuss their plan for play. In the afternoon educators will revisit your child’s play to discuss what worked well, and what they would like to learn more about.

We prepare your child for school and our aim is to help in the development of confidence and independence skills that your child will need prior to starting school, helping to build a solid foundation for later learning.

Our preschool program promotes interests and assists your child in becoming an active learner and provides opportunities for your child to develop to their full potential whilst having fun at the same time.

Children in the preschool Room alternate times throughout the day in each of the learning environment in small groups. This gives your child the opportunity and time to engage in more sophisticated play and learning needed for formal schooling.
